Americare Presents at the NYP/Cornell Caregivers Resource Center

On September 17th, Mrs. Penina Mezei, LCSW, presented to a packed hall of caregivers on “How to Have the Best Home Care Experience: Orienting Your Aide”. The audience enjoyed an interactive 2 hour discussion on the different types of home care, the importance of communication between aides/family/agency, realistic expectations of family and aides,  as well as several other relevant topics. Based on the feedback, caregivers walked out feeling like they gained new insights, practical tips and had a very enjoyable time.
