Anxiety Disorder

Anxiety is defined as a state of uneasiness, frequent fear or worry in situations of imminent danger or uncertain outcomes. People who are anxious exhibit a variety of psychological and physical symptoms. Anxiety disorders are the most common form of emotional disorders and affect more than 25 million Americans. Symptoms may include:
  • Overwhelming feelings of panic and fear
  • Uncontrollable obsessive thoughts
  • Painful, intrusive memories
