Americare Launches Staten Island Office, Provides Free Skills Training for Prospective Home Health Aides

New Location Will Help Meet Growing Demand for Skilled, Dedicated Workers In a Booming Industry With Significant Growth & Career Advancement Opportunities 

Staten Island, NY – Americare, one of New York’s largest healthcare organizations and a state and national leader in quality home healthcare, today celebrated the grand opening of its inaugural Staten Island office and kicked off a new free training program for workers interested in a career as a home health aide.  

Americare’s Staten Island training program is one of seven now underway, with additional classes offered in Manhattan’s Chinatown neighborhood, as well as at several locations in Queens, the Bronx and Brooklyn. All prospective home health aides who successfully complete Americare’s training programs are guaranteed a case placement and employment with competitive salary and benefits packages, signing bonuses, ample career advancement opportunities and more.

All Americare’s referral positions are union protected, include a compensation package equal to $19.09 and 21 days off annually. The company offers a $500 sign-on bonus, as well as a $500 referral bonus. Home health aides receive free medical insurance, as well as a 401K plan with company match.
