Forest Hills, Queens – At noon on Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2022, Elly Kleinman, president, CEO, and founder of The Americare Companies, officially cut the ribbon on the company’s new Queens office, which will serve as a training center for home health aides and resource for anyone interested in learning more about Americare’s services for patients and their families.
Located on the lower level of 102-02 Queens Blvd., the office will be open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
“We are excited to be in the Forest Hills community and open this office, which will provide a wide range of information and opportunities for those interested in entering the growing field of home health care as well as individuals who can benefit from our services,” Kleinman said.
Staff will be on hand to answer questions about eligibility, home care choices, discharge plans, payment options and much more. Our compassionate and highly trained team will be able to guide you through what can be a dauting and confusing process. Let us help!
For those interested in free training to become a home health aide, you can apply in-person at either location or online at www.americareny.com, and visit our Facebook page, americarejobs, for more information.
Americare guarantees placement for those who successfully complete our training program. Classes at the Queens office are offered in both English and Russian. Americare wants to ensure clients can work with aides who speak their native language, understanding that this makes them more comfortable and improves care outcomes.
Training class participants will learn how to comprehensively address patient health issues, and will have access after graduating to continuing education opportunities, as well as additional professional support.
All Americare’s referral positions are union protected and include a compensation package equal to $19.09/hour with 21 annual days off. We offer a $500 sign-on bonus and a $500 referral bonus. Home health aides receive free medical insurance and a 401K plan with company match.
